Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring call coverage and floating between surgical centers.

Details

• Work in a PACU setting within a hospital environment
• Varied start times with typical 12-hour day shifts (e.g., 7:30-20:00, 8:00-20:30, 9:00-21:30)
• Call is required as part of the regular schedule
• Floating between surgical centers or areas may be needed

Requirements

• Active RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years' recent PACU or relevant service line experience required
• Current resume and certification verification must be submitted
• Altera charting experience preferred but not required
• Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must reside at least 150 miles away from the facility to be eligible as a traveler
• Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Additional Information

• Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of offer acceptance or coordinate completion
• Two supervisor references from the past three years of employment are required
• Holiday or weekend shifts may be required as per departmental needs
• Role may require flexibility to meet specific documentation deadlines
