Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with at least 2 years of recent post-anesthesia care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and ability to take call.

Details

• Work in the Operating and Recovery Room department in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes post-anesthesia and surgical recovery cases
• Day shift schedule from 09:00 to 17:30 with 8-hour shifts
• Rotation of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week over a two-week pay period
• Call required 1 to 2 days per week

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU RN experience
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
• PALS certification required as per unit or facility policy
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include caring for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Orientation is provided bi-weekly
• Travelers are not permitted to work in pairs unless specifically approved by unit needs
• No local candidates will be considered due to the 100-mile radius rule
• Previous travel RN experience is preferred
