Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift assignment in a busy unit with Level III NICU capabilities.

Details

• Work in a busy Labor and Delivery unit with antepartum and OB ED areas
• Care for labor, delivery, and antepartum patients, with Level III NICU support
• Must be willing to float to the Mother/Baby unit as needed
• 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend work and participation in holiday rotation required
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license required, verified with Nursys within 30 days prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year recent labor and delivery nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification from AHA or American Academy of Pediatrics required
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• May care for patients in both labor and antepartum settings and provide support in OB ED
• Floating to Mother/Baby unit may be required depending on staffing needs
• Holiday coverage is required as part of the rotation
• Dress code and scrub requirements are hospital-specific and will be provided upon assignment
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced rate based on the facility's radius rule
