Job Details
- Pediatric sonography position covering NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU settings
- Assignment is for 13 weeks working 8 or 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
- Will need to float to nearby clinic locations if necessary
- Performs echocardiographic studies for fetal (22+ weeks), pediatric, and adult congenital heart disease diagnoses
- Utilizes Epic EMR, PACS Fuji CV Synapse, and Philips ultrasound systems
- Four scanners available
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in pediatric sonography required
- BLS and ARDMS certifications required
- Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred
- Fetal echo experience encouraged and adult echo experience a plus
- Must be knowledgeable with ECMO procedures and able to assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement
- Must have thorough understanding of congenital and non-congenital heart diseases
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Job duties include recognizing and triaging emergent situations, providing written communication to cardiologists, equipment maintenance, and procedure logging and billing
- Will cover a full spectrum of pediatric and congenital cardiac cases
- Orientation provided for 1-2 weeks
- Scrubs in Caribbean Blue are required
