Job Details
- Work on a 25-bed medical PCU caring for acutely and chronically ill adults with complex medical diagnoses
- 3x12 hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) for a 13-week assignment
- Current nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 with a goal to achieve 1:4
- Unit staffed by internal medicine physicians and residents
- Float to other PCU units and Med Surg may be required
- Use of Epic EMR system is required
Job Requirements
- Active RN license required
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
- Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible
- Previous employees must have a minimum one-year gap before returning as a traveler
Additional Information
- Care for adult patients with a wide range of complex medical conditions
- Must work at least one holiday per season, including two winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
- Orientation modules and Epic training are provided during the onboarding process
- Non-billable modules must be completed within the first 24 hours of onboarding to be considered compliant
- All requested time off must be submitted up front
