Job Details
- Work in a medical/surgical unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, working 3 days per week
- 13-week assignment duration
- Patient care managed using Cerner EMR system
Job Requirements
- Active RN license for the state or district is required and must be in hand
- Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in a US hospital Med/Surg unit required
- Current certifications required: NIHSS, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), all issued by AHA
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly desired
- Cerner experience required
- Candidate must have a US Social Security Number
- Must provide at least two professional references, with one from the most recent employer
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing initial and ongoing assessments, documenting and determining patient needs, and delivering age-appropriate care
- Ability to understand and provide appropriate care for patients throughout the lifespan is required
- CPI certification is mandated and may be provided onsite
- All time off requests must be included at time of consideration
- Candidates must live at least 25 miles from the facility
- No pending licenses are accepted for consideration
