While on assignment, your
payroll will be administered by American
Traveler on all of your Staffing Assignments.
Our Travelers describe this service as
"On-Time and Accurate." This
is possible because "Direct Deposit"
pays all payroll and reimbursed expenses
for you. This means every paycheck is
wired directly into your bank account
at no charge to you. You have immediate
access to the funds no matter where or
when you need them. In addition, our Payroll
Specialists are available to assist you
with any questions or special requests
that may arise before, during or after

Salaries and Bonuses
American Travelers enjoy exceptional salaries and cash bonuses on every assignment. With thousands of positions available, we are able to selectively offer those assignments that meet your salary requirements as well as geographical requests. At many locations, Completion
Bonuses are also offered. These vary between $500 - $12,000 and are paid at the end of the assignment.
Our travelers take assignments for many reasons, some of the most frequently requested assignments are those that offer compensation packages significantly higher than those available on permanent or per diem positions. Imagine making a large Completion Bonus and enjoying your own Free Private Apartment, Free Health, Dental and Life Insurance, AAA Membership Subsidy, Reimbursed Licensure and more! Travelers earn on average compensation of over $70,000 and when including the other benefits described above such as free housing and health insurance, it is a total compensation package of well over $100,000 a year!
Completion Bonuses
Completion Bonuses are offered at many assignments as an additional income over and above the stated hourly salary. Bonuses range from $500 - $12,000 at selected locations! These completion bonuses are paid at the successful completion of the assignment. For Travelers motivated to increase their annual incomes, this is considered an enormous benefit!
Referral Bonuses
We offer the highest salaries and generous Completion Bonuses while on assignment with American Traveler. And it doesn't stop there! We want to see you traveling with your friends and new acquaintances too. As an added incentive, we offer a REFERRAL BONUS plan that is unequaled. Referral Bonuses are paid to you, for paying us your highest compliment, referring other healthcare professionals to our organization! Protection Plus
American Traveler provides Protection Plus to our Travelers on our staffing assignments. This program ensures our Travelers will be paid full time pay in the unlikely event of shift cancellations by the hospital. We want to be sure that our travelers are fully compensated while on assignment. 401(k) Plan
