Boca Raton, Florida
PRESS RELEASE TOPIC: American Traveler Staffing Professionals Awarded Joint Commission Certification for 2nd Consecutive Year
Once again, American Traveler Staffing Professionals has attained the Gold Seal of Approval TM for health care staffing services. For the second consecutive year, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations has awarded American Traveler the Health Care Staffing Services Certification.
The Joint Commission has national standards which focus on how staffing firms determine the qualification and competency of their staff as well as how staff is placed and monitored. American Traveler met these standards with ease.
The Joint Commission launched this certification program in October 2004 in response to the increasing number of temporary workers in health care organizations. It offers an independent, comprehensive evaluation of a staffing firm’s abilities to provide competent staffing services.
American Traveler’s Joint Commission certification is effective for two years from January 20, 2006. This achievement was marked by a congratulatory message from the Executive Vice President of the Division of Accreditation Operations at the Joint Commission.
“Congratulations on your achievements of a certification under the Joint Commission’s Health Care Staffing Services program.”
Russell P. Massaro, MD, FACPE
