Description

American Traveler is hiring an LPN for VNA Home Care requiring home care experience and active MA licensure for a 13-week assignment.

Details

Home care setting through a VNA Nursing department
Provides 6 patient visits per day
Works within an interdisciplinary team including RNs, PTs, OTs, and HHAs
Delivers skilled nursing care as delegated by the RN Case Manager and/or Clinical Team Manager
Scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Requires a weekend rotation of 1 in 4, equating to one weekend shift per month
Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

License required if applicable
Active MA LPN license required, with no conditional or pending licenses accepted
Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
Home care experience required
Current BLS certification required
Proof of flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

Perform skilled nursing functions in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and established organizational and departmental policies
Work under the direction of the Clinical Team Manager
Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to be considered for this position
