Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Pediatric RN with NICU experience for a rotating nights/days position requiring an MD or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in a Pediatric Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes premature infants and pediatric patients with conditions such as AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and iatrogenic NAS
• Tracheostomy (trach) experience is required for this unit
• Experience in PCU is preferred
• Rotating nights and days schedule: Night shift 1900–0730 and Day shift 0730–1930
• 36 hours per week on a 3x12-hour shift schedule
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• Floating within specialty is required as needed, including possible float to the main Baltimore location
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric RN experience required
• NICU experience required
• Trach management experience required
