Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pre/Post Op (PACU) position at an acute care facility in Wisconsin, requiring at least 2 years of experience and active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, Pre/Post Op (PACU) unit within an OR environment
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts with start times ranging from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM; shift end may be later depending on patient discharge
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Cerner (facility is transitioning to Epic)

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required by start date
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Pre/Post Op or PACU clinical experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference within the last 3 years of relevant experience

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months, and hospital approval is required prior to placement
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and are subject to a reduced bill rate
