Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric OR RN with a current CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of pediatric OR experience, including ophthalmology scrub and circulate skills.

Details

• Pediatric Operating Room (OR) setting within a hospital environment
• Pediatric surgical patient population, including ophthalmology, and preferred experience in general surgery, orthopedics, and neurosurgery
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Floating to other facilities within the health system may be required
• 8:2 call/on-call ratio

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric OR experience required
• Demonstrated experience scrubbing and circulating ophthalmology cases required
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience in general surgery, orthopedics, and neurosurgery preferred
• Proficiency in laparoscopic surgery and scrubbing surgical procedures preferred
• Completed references must be provided for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating in a pediatric OR environment across a range of surgical specialties
• Must be available to float to other facilities within the health system as needed
