American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a hospital in Fort Wayne, IN, requiring ACLS/BLS certification and Cerner EMR experience.

Details

• Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an acute care hospital in Fort Wayne, IN
• 10-bed ICU unit with a 1:3 patient ratio
• Critical care patient population
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to other units is required
• Block scheduling is not available
• EMR: Cerner
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IN RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must not expire within the first 30 days of the contract start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/critical care experience required
• Cerner EMR experience
• Valid driver's license required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Orientation: 2 days
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2 years of ICU experience is required
