Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Access RN (PICC) with a CA RN license and expertise in PIV, Midline, and PICC line insertion.

Details

• Work in the vascular access/PICC unit of an acute care hospital
• Responsible for vascular access procedures including PIV, Midline, and PICC line insertions
• Day shift available with 3x12 hour shifts (schedule options include 7:00-19:30 and 11:00-23:30)

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience unless otherwise noted
• Proficient in peripheral IV, midline, and PICC line insertion
• Must not have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in the vascular access unit
• Must provide direct patient care, patient and family education, and manage care transitions
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Only one holiday time-off request will be approved
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
