American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Infusion Center position in a fast-paced ambulatory setting with proficiency in IV insertion and chemotherapy administration.

Details

• Work in an outpatient infusion center within a hospital environment
• Provide care for oncology and non-oncology patients requiring infusion therapies
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, blood products, and supportive therapies
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Continuous patient monitoring and rapid response to infusion reactions are essential

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Relevant infusion center or ambulatory care experience required
• Experience with comparable facility size (500+ bed count) necessary
• Proficient in IV insertion and management
• Chemotherapy administration experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient education and rapid response to emergent situations
• Must be able to handle high patient volumes and fast-paced environment
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers, except for Howard County General where a 60-mile radius rule applies
• Candidates must provide documentation of active licensure and at least one professional reference
• Appropriate scrubs or attire as specified by unit guidelines
