American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring at least one year of inpatient Med/Surg experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital
• Care for general Med/Surg patient population
• Telemetry is monitored in a centralized location
• Night shifts with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules
• Free-floating charge nurse and a house discharge nurse support the unit

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum one year of inpatient Med/Surg experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Locals within a 50 mile radius are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been gone at least one year before returning as a traveler

Additional Information

• First time travelers are accepted
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• No more than three days of requested time off will be approved; no time off permitted in the first week of orientation
