NorthBay Medical Center opened its doors in 1960 with a 32-bed capacity. In 1992, an addition to the facility which included a larger maternity department, a larger NICU, and a state-of-the-art CCU, brought them to the current 132-bed capacity. North Bay is accredited by The Joint Commission for the facility as well as the Home Care Accreditation Program. Their Health Education Department has been awarded recognition for excellence in Diabetes Education by the American Diabetes Association. The Cancer Center was accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission as well.

Orientation Details

Orientation time is 8:45 am in the staffing office. Scrubs are required (any professional color) on the first day. You will need to provide the staffing office with a photo ID, your CA nursing license, and the required certifications. General hospital orientation is individualized to accommodate the Travel Nurse start date. Clinical manager will provide most of your orientation.
