American Traveler is seeking a professional Sales Administrator who wants to work in a dynamic organization with smart, talented individuals.

The Sales Administrator position serves as a key operational and administrative expert in the recruitment department, providing our sales team with administrative, directional and strategic support. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills.

You should be results-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a critical position in the organization, and you will be involved in many aspects of the daily business. As the Sales Administrator you must enjoy being a “Go-To Person", perform tasks with a sense of urgency and consistently succeed on multiple projects simultaneously. The position requires exceptionally strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and technical savvy with a high level of expertise with Microsoft Office Products.

Sales Administrator's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Collaboratively work with management to establish, measure, and report on sales results.
  • Create and/or administer reports detailing sales performance such as sales forecast and trending analysis.
  • Administer traveler contracts to ensure timely execution of new traveler paperwork.
  • Administer facility contracts including input of key data and making independent decisions on pricing and margin strategies.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements while serving as key administration point person in department.
  • Coordination, tracking and execution of various business documents. This includes tracking expiration dates, renewal dates and initiating renewal procedures to ensure the business will meet all criteria required for operation.
  • Use anecdotal and quantitative data to diagnose opportunity and prescribe solutions.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of all company operations including contract processing and flow of information involved supporting full cycle recruitment efforts.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our in-house software products and how to best leverage to serve business growth objectives.
  • Act as liaison between necessary support departments to facilitate sales process and growth strategies.
  • Provide contract processing, RFP writing and administrative support services to the recruitment department.
  • Stay abreast of market conditions and competitive environment impacting the business and translate understanding into sales and marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to a positive culture.
  • Monday through Thursday work hours: 12:00 pm - 9 pm; Saturday: 9 - 6 pm

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models and technologies.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly self-motivated, flexible, enjoys a fast paced environment.
  • Experience documenting and analyzing sales processes, procedures, and/or policies.
  • Professional level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent follow-up and follow through skills, efficiently manage large amounts of information.
  • Work effectively with other departments towards accomplishing business plan goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • High level expertise with Microsoft Office Products including excel and word.
  • Highly self-directed.
  • Understanding of healthcare staffing market a plus.
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification in Excel and Word a plus
  • 4 year Degree preferred
